Unfortunately, there is no instant fix for cellulite, no magic pill that would eliminate it in the blink of an eye. Sadly, in most cases it is impossible to get rid of it completely, but what you can do is try your best to reduce it.
Women all over the world spend huge amounts of money on anti-cellulite products, but unfortunately very few of these actually work. Instead of spending a fortune on unnecessary creams and gels, try changing your lifestyle and your daily routine, and fight cellulite naturally. Here’s how to do so!
1. Hydrate
It’s very important to stay hydrated, especially during the hot summer months. Hydration will help your body to get rid of all the toxins, and it also helps your overall well being. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day will keep your skin hydrated, your nails and hair healthy, and you will feel better.
2. Eat Healthy
If you decided to fight cellulite, a healthy diet could be one of your best weapons. Add some whole grains, cold-water fish and a lot of fruits and vegetables to your everyday diet. Avoid eating fatty foods, switch to decaf coffee and cut down on sodas and fried foods. Also, try to avoid alcohol and cigarettes.
3. Massage
Massage improves circulation and also helps to reduce stress. You could treat yourself to a professional massage twice a month, or do a self-massage every other day. There are also different anti-cellulite massages that you could try out – these can be painful, so think twice before you decide to have one.
4. Exercise
Exercise 4 to 6 days a week for at least 15 minutes per day. You don’t have to go to a gym in order to exercise – you could do this at home, too! Doing squats and speed walking are the best options.
Include squats in your daily routine and you’ll see how easy it is to get in shape! Choose walking over taking the elevator every now and then, speed walk for an hour or two once a week, and you’ll see the results soon!
5. Use Anti-cellulite Products
Anti-cellulite products are not magical – they will not eliminate your cellulite in 24 hours, no matter what manufacturers claim. However, once you’ve changed your diet and your lifestyle, anti-cellulite creams and gels can help you to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Look for creams that have caffeine, alpha hydroxy acids and retinol – these are the ingredients that are most likely to help you to reduce cellulite.
