“Don’t leave the house without breakfast; it’s the most important meal!” You heard this many times. Spice up your morning routine with these 7 delicious banana breakfast ideas. They are healthy, nutritious and fast.

Skipping breakfast is bad for health, but many of us do it regularly. We simply don’t find time for it. Well, there is a solution.

Bananas are a great source of fiber, potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin B6, making them an excellent choice for starting your day.

Let’s start:

1. Banana Yogurt Bowl

For a tasty and satisfying breakfast, top a bowl of Greek yogurt with sliced bananas, granola, and a drizzle of honey. For more texture, you may also add some berries or nuts.

2. Banana Muesli

Cube cut the banana, the apple and the kiwi. Put them into the bowl and stir with soar cream. Add some minced or grated hazelnut and pine nuts (if you want, you can use almonds instead). Banana and nuts will give you the energy needed for morning activities. Always have some prepared (minced, smashed or grated nuts) in your kitchen and breakfast will be ready fast.

3. Banana and Oat Smoothie

Put the minced flex seed and oat into purified water and leave for 10-15 min. Cut banana into smaller parts. Blend banana, milk and honey until smooth, pour into bowl and add flex seed and oat . Add more milk if it is too thick. Leave out the honey and flex seed if you prepare this meal for a child under two years old. Also, when eating flex seed, be sure you take enough liquid.

4. Peanut Butter Banana Toast

For a tasty and filling breakfast, spread peanut butter on a slice of whole wheat bread and top it with banana slices. For added taste, you may also add a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

5. Banana Fruit Salad

Preparation is for 4 persons

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup of mixed hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts
  • 1 cup of mixed dry fruits (apricot, raisins, plums)
  • freshly squeezed orange juice

In the evening, sink dry fruits into water. Next morning, cut the apple into small cubes, the bananas into slices and put them in a bowl, then pour the orange juice over them. Take the dry fruits from the water and cut them into smaller pieces. Add grated nuts and top the salad with whipping cream if you want. In summer you can omit dry fruits and add strawberries, apricots and peach instead.

6. Banana and Brown Rice

Cook the brown rice in the evening (on every spoon of raw brown rice add 3 spoons of water) and put the cranberries into water. In the morning, peel the apple and the pear then cut them into little cubes. Add sliced bananas, cranberries and the previously prepared brown rice. Stir it. At the end add some orange or apple juice.

7. Banana Pancakes

For a tasty and nutritious twist on traditional pancakes, mash a ripe banana and combine it with some pancake batter. You may also add nuts or chocolate chips to the dough to add texture.
