On the other hand, they consume more fuel than a passenger car and they are generally more expensive to own and drive. Most important disadvantage of having an SUV is the huge blind spot they have at the back. Pay special attention to this if you are getting an SUV, you don’t want to hit the neighbor’s kid while parking out because there is a big blind spot at the back of your car.
Generally speaking SUVs have both many advantages and disadvantages. In the end, it is up to you to decide whether you want one or not.
4. Additional Options
When you have already decided on the type of car you want to get, and you have a possibility to choose, it is a good idea to pay attention to some additional options. Here’s what you need to know.
It would be of super help to have a car with parking sensors and parking cameras. Girls are usually not very good at parking, so any additional help you can get is good. Pay attention to air bags, especially if you are going to drive your kids to school. Make sure the car has both front and back seat airbags. Take a look at the fuel consumption as well.
All other things are less important. It is crucial to have a car that is safe, economic and user friendly. Try not to be attracted by special additional options that you won’t really use, because they only add to the price of your car.
