How To Use Facebook To Find A Job

Have you thought of deleting your Facebook profile? If your answer is yes, then you'll have to learn how to use Facebook to find a job. This post could make you change your mind about deleting your profile.

If you are looking for an online job because you can’t find one where you live, don’t have many opportunities or you just want to work from home to save some money, then keep reading.

Due to a lack of jobs in my town, I decided to try my luck working online from home. In August 2014, I started looking for online work, but experienced many scams and fake jobs.

I was living in Puerto Rico and it’s very hard to find a good job without experience. That is why you see a lot of people moving to the United States or other countries.

Through Facebook, I eventually found some trustworthy sites and blogs, which I’m going to share with you. How? Well, I found an article about some Facebook pages that you can follow to look for an online job, but you need to go to the websites to see the actual job leads.

Don’t worry if you don’t have Facebook; some of the sites are public and, again, it is much better to check the websites themselves. The most important thing though is that you need to speak English fluently to apply for jobs.

This reference list can be your guide on the road to learning how to use Facebook to find a job.

1. Dream home-based work

This is first on the list because it’s my favorite site. It shows jobs for the US and worldwide. Also you can find it on Youtube.

2. Real ways to make money online

Sometimes it appears on Facebook and sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s my second favorite, so I want to share it with you. Like I said before, you should check the website.

3. Workersonboard

New jobs are posted regularly on this site, which makes it one of my favorites to refer to. You can also find it on Youtube.

4. 1099 mom

The page changed its focus and it helps people with questions or doubts about working at home.

5. Freelance way of life

As you can guess, this page is more for freelancers, bloggers or people who want a side income. The posts are very regular.

6. Rat race rebellion

This one is the most popular page. However, the jobs are mostly for specific professions and sometimes they require more experience.

7. The work at home woman

This is another page that is very popular and provides good information. It is about telecommuting and home businesses. It was named by Forbes in 2012 and 2013 as one of the top websites to look for a job or help your career.

8. The work at home wife

This page is really good and informative. It’s one of the bests sites out there to look for jobs.

9. Ramblings of a WAHM with Allie

The posts of this page are funny and informative. However, they are not very regular, so you should check the site often.

10. The work from home lifestyle

This page is more for professionals, technology and IT jobs.

11. Pay the bills and more

The site shares tips, ideas and jobs, but its posts are not regular.

12. Work at home journal

This page is not regularly updated, but you can still sign up for daily job leads.

13. Work at home adventures

Although the site doesn’t update posts regularly, it still offers a lot of information about jobs as well as ideas for work.

14. Work at home mom revolution

This site regularly posts jobs and offers such a wide range of possibilities that you’re almost guaranteed to find something suitable.

15. Work at home-all stay at home job bank

Yet another site that is not updated regularly, but offers a wealth of information as a starting point.

16. Work at home journey

If you’re looking for ideas to earn a full-time income from home, this is the site to check out.

17. WorkAtHomeNoScams.com

I recommend this one, but you need to go to the site and see all the information. You can pay for courses, and the owner of the site is very thorough in checking for scams.

Be very careful when you apply to a job. Never give money or personal information like your social security number. To recognize when a job is a scam, look at the amount of detail that is given in the post as well as whether or not the company name is listed.

Use Google to check the company name and, if you have any doubts, stay away from the company if things don’t seem legitimate.

Even if you’re not interested in working from home, these sites can help to generate ideas for your own business or even to hire someone for work that you need done.
