Do yourself a favor and save your heart from being broken, by using these tips on how to tell that he’s a cheater, before you get in too deep.
You are in a relationship with this guy, and you are not quite sure… You are falling for him head over heels, and it’s all going too fast. Look at your man closely – does he show any of the signs that he might be the cheating type? There are some things about him that can tip you off, and save you some heartache. You just need to take a step back, and check out for them.
1. No Female Friends
If there is no female who would vouch for your man, there is a good chance that he is the cheating type. Having only guy friends around, probably means that all the women walked out of his life, for some reason. Most likely it’s because he wasn’t able to treat girls like friends only. Or didn’t want to.
Be careful not to mistake friends for all those girls he seems to know, but never introduces you to. They could very well be his backup plans.
2. Very Limited Access
Is he always keeping his cell phone in his pocket, and is he careful not to leave it lying around when he leaves the room? It can mean that he can’t risk you answering the phone, or going through his messages. Keep your eyes open for this tip.
The same goes for his e-mail. I’m not saying that if you are in a relationship you two should melt into one person, have a mutual Facebook profile and such. But if he is super-cautious not to give you any passwords, and logs off the same second you enter the room, there is something he does not want you to see.
3. He Cheated Before
I’m not saying a man can’t change, and that you should jump to any conclusions, but just be careful. If he cheated before, it will probably happen again. It’s like any other vice: rebound is a normal part of rehabilitation.
Just ask yourself if you are willing to put up with that. And don’t tell yourself that the woman he cheated on is probably, some slut that deserved it. Nobody deserves it, and there is no excuse to string along one person, while you sleep around with others.
4. Jealous Outbreaks

If he knows it can be done, and that it can be done easily and without being caught, then he will suspect you every time you move out of his sight for a few hours. And no, it is not that he cares, he is only protecting his property. Don’t fall for his act.
5. It’s Moving too Fast
He seems to be very romantic, and says all the right things? But you have a gut feeling that it’s all about getting you into bed? Is he only interested in sex? Well, you probably have the honor to be with a real player. Beware! All of his moves are designed specifically to get you to sleep with him.
If you like him, go for it, but don’t expect it to become a deep romantic relationship. After you, there are other conquests that are waiting, and he will probably be moving on to them while he is still with you.
6. He Likes to Take Risks
This one speaks for itself. This guy will probably see your relationship as a currency, and have a rush risking to lose it. Cheating is a gamble, and not getting caught has such thrill for some men that they cannot resist the challenge of the game. A gambling habit, even some that isn’t a problem, should be a reliable tip that this guy is a cheater.
7. His Friends are Real Players
Do not underestimate the power of peer pressure. Even the nicest guys can change their behavior under a bad influence.
If he hangs around with womanizers, there is a reason for it. Remember how you wandered what could he ever have in common with those sleazy types? Probably a lot, but at the moment you are under his spell and you are not the only one.
