I think we can all agree that smoothies are delicious. They are a virtually guilt-free sweet treat that is good for you any time of the day, whether it is a breakfast, post-workout snack or an afternoon pick-me-up.

You may have your smoothie recipe that hits the spot every time, but here are 10 smoothie recipes that may be something you wouldn’t think of trying at first, but once you do try them, you won’t able to stop making them.

1. Banana “Milkshake”

This smoothie is absolutely delicious and I drink it all the time. It is so simple to make, and it really does taste like a vanilla milkshake without the guilt. One tip: If you want more of a vanilla flavor, make sure the bananas aren’t too ripe. You can also add a few strawberries to make it a “strawberry milkshake” or use cocoa powder or chocolate almond milk to make it a chocolate one.

Recipe:

  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk (or whatever kind of milk you prefer)
  • 1 TS Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 TS Sweetener (Honey, brown sugar, stevia, agave, etc…)
  • A dash of cinnamon
  • Ice
