What Nobody Tells You About Food In Chain Restaurants

There are hidden toxic ingredients in food of the most chain restaurants , so get in the know and make sure you’re not being pumped full of chemicals.

Chain restaurants have found ways to maximize profits, which are not good for their customers. They have sauces that have preservatives in them, and most of their food is not prepared fresh. While some chain restaurants, like True Food Kitchen, break this stereotype and offer fresh food, most do not.

It’s sad that these family-friendly restaurants are offering foods with so many chemicals in them, and it’s important that we know what we are putting in our bodies. Here’s why you might want to think twice before hitting up that chain restaurant again.

Their food is full of toxic chemicals

Most chain restaurants have their ingredients delivered in massive drums and bags, which are kept in storage. The drums contain sauces that are full of addictive chemicals that will keep you coming back. Cheese sauces, dressings, marinades and the like are not natural; in fact, they barely contain any natural ingredients.

Their food is not fresh

The reason they are able to sell their food so inexpensively is because it keeps much longer because of the preservatives. Chances are that the sauces and dips you’re enjoying at your table were generated in a factory several months ago.

If we really knew all the chemicals we were consuming at chain restaurants, we would definitely think twice before going. Many chains cut corners, use the cheapest oils to fry their appetizers and the flour is highly refined.

They heat things in the microwave, zapping the nutrients and everything contains refined sugar, which is known to be a leading cause of Type 2 diabetes. So, while you may think you’re only consuming a nice fish dinner, the sauce on your fish and veggies may clog your body, causing painful inflammation. Sound like fun? We didn’t think so.

Their food is highly addictive

The waiter may be sweet, but they are offering sodas and juices with harmful chemicals in them as well. If we took away what they were trained to say and said how the food would actually make you feel, it would be something like this: “Our dinner special tonight is a bloated stomach, topped with a clogged artery and sprinkled with a spike in your blood sugars. Good luck trying to sleep well because the amount of sugar in our dessert will have you running to the bathroom all night. Can I get anyone a dehydrating beverage?”

Sugar is highly addictive, and because we aren’t able to see the ingredients in the food, we don’t really know how much is in it. Sadly, children are raised on preservatives and additives that cause their tastebuds to become addicted to these foods so they can’t taste the natural flavor. They will be compelled to eat things based on flavor alone, and that habit will last long into their adult life.

Chain restaurants do not care about your health. They are lining their pockets with your money. People are lining up out the door to get into these big restaurants, completely unaware of the poison they are paying for.

Hopefully, this type of deception will be illegal one day, but for now, people are making money by slowly poisoning us and having a young attractive and charismatic waiter sell you on it. They make the atmosphere fun, turn on some fancy music and the people don’t even know what hit them. Pretty soon, they’ve spent as much on one meal as they could really spend in an entire week on groceries.

European countries have banned GMOs

Many European countries have banned GMOs because they realize how bad they are for people’s health. Genetically modified foods are mass produced, putting small farmers out of business. GMOs sell at a discounted rate to the large food suppliers who then sell these manufactured products to chain restaurants. By the time they reach your plate, there are very few nutrients left in them, never mind the vitamin and mineral content.

Their dairy and meat have been proven to cause cancer

The China Study proved that consuming animal products had a direct correlation to the rate of cancer growth in cells. Large chain restaurants get their meat and dairy from factory farms that raise animals in unhealthy environments. The animals are often sick and pumped with steroids to grow bigger and faster. These animals are mistreated throughout their lives and often unable to walk about.

These chemicals are in the meat and dairy sold in most chain restaurants. There are also preservatives and flavor enhancers added to the meat and dairy to keep it fresh and make it a certain color or taste. We don’t need flavors that are created in a laboratory; it is in humane.

If you want to learn more about, this check out an advocacy organization called Mercy For Animals based in LA that has done a lot of work to reveal the unhealthy conditions at factory farms. You can also stick up for the health of our human population and boycott places that don’t use organic, unprocessed ingredients. The more people who start to do so, the more companies will be forced to take notice.
