Make Up Tips for Asian Women

When we think about gorgeous Asian women, their flawless skin and seductive eyes, one word comes to mind – porcelain. The thing that most people don’t realize is that, for most women, flawless means knowing how to tackle multiple problems, and turning them into something breathtaking. Here’s how.

Foundation

Asian women have a huge disadvantage when choosing a foundation. They need to find the one without the pink undertone. This can be really hard as most foundations contain at least a small amount of it. Unfortunately, Asian women who use a pinkish foundation will, almost unavoidably, look too artificial, so you should focus on finding a complementing foundation with yellow or olive undertones.

For extra effect, first apply a makeup primer, and then cover it with a thin layer of powder. This will smooth all the problematic undertones, and leave you a pleasant surface to work with.

If you are looking for a natural look that comes from nature, try using some mineral makeup. It looks elegant, feels elegant and is elegant. It is made of sparkling minerals, after all.

Eyes

Asian eyes are a bit complicated for conventional makeup. A lot of Asian women have a problem with a so called – single eye lid, or heavy eyelids that make the eyes look tired and swollen. To achieve the smoky eyes look, you’ll need some skills in shading. Don’t worry, it’s not hard. Just start with a light shade at your eyebrows and intensify the color as you approach the eyelashes. Colors like navy, gray, different shades of brown and green are a good choice.

Black eyeliner is always a good idea. Use it freely because the more eyeliner you use, the more defined your eyes look.

The tired, puffy look can be reduced by using apricot shades. This color will look natural against your skin, with a slightly shinier appeal, perfect for cheering up that sleepy eyelid.

Cheekbones

Cheekbones often stand out with Asian women, and this can disturb their, otherwise youthful appeal. To set this straight, you’ll need to go around the cheekbones, using a pink or a soft purple blush. Use highlights at the top of your cheekbones to compliment the shape of your face.

While you are at it, you might want to experiment with the look of your cheeks. If you want to slim them, suck your cheeks in, and apply blush inside the center. Highlight your cheeks around the blush, and watch the difference. For slightly fuller chicks try vice versa, but be very subtle.

Similar principle can be used for sliming your nose. It will look a lot like drawing, since you’ll need to apply a darker shade on both sides of your nose, and highlight the main part. Take extra care, because this, if done sloppy, can be really noticeable.

There is a huge variety of makeup options for Asian women, and by following these simple guidelines, you will be on a safe path to finding your own!
