3 Ways to Attract Any Type of Guy You Want

In order to break out of a “type,” you first have to break out of your negative beliefs. Once you have broken free, your life will expand beyond your imagination!

If you can break out of having a “type,” then you can break into a new world. What kind of a new world am I talking about? I’m talking about a new world of experiences because you finally figured out how to stop automatically attracting a certain type of a guy.

There are the types that you know are not good for you, such as the “bad boy” type, the “party boy”, “the player”, the “mama’s boy”, “the cheater” and others. And there are other types that are not so bad, but you may be tired of always getting stuck with them.

These types are guys like “the artist”, “the romantic”, “the intellectual”, “the adventurer” and more. These guys aren’t bad by any means, but you may wonder why you always seem to end up attracting only these types of guys.

There are also other types such as the successful, alpha-male types who seem to have it all together. But, what happens to a lot of women is that they don’t feel worthy of the better types of guys because of negative beliefs that they have about themselves.

To get out of a type, identify your negative beliefs.

Well, how do you get out of having a type?

Here are three steps to break out of having a type:

1. Identify all the old programming and negative events from your past.

The reason why you attract the same type of guy is from old programming and old, outdated beliefs about men. How did these beliefs get stuck in your subconscious mind? Usually, they happen because of events that happened to you earlier in life—much earlier.

Just for a moment, think of yourself as a computer. Your subconscious mind is like an operating system. On top of your subconscious mind, you have programs that run that are based on your belief system.

Your beliefs are like file folders. Underneath your belief folders are all of the events and things that happened to you in order to create and justify those beliefs. So, for example, if you believe that all men are jerks, that’s because you have an “all men are jerks” belief folder in your memory, with all of the events and facts to support that belief in the form of memories.

Even though you may consciously know that not all men are jerks, if you have that belief folder “all men are jerks” hidden in your subconscious mind, then you will unwittingly believe—on a deep level—that all men are jerks. And then guess what “type” of men you will attract? Jerks, of course! You get what you believe you will get. You create your reality based on your beliefs.

In order to attract a better type, believe that you can!

Likewise, if you believe that you are not good enough to attract other types of men in your life, then you won’t! It’s that simple. You get what you believe you deserve. But, most of our beliefs were created from childhood, and this is where the true problem is.

Awareness is the first step! Most of us create our beliefs about others and ourselves from a very early age and based upon what happened to us way back when. The first step is simply becoming aware of those negative beliefs that no longer serve us.

2. Delete the negative beliefs from your subconscious mind.

Awareness is the first step, but now the question is how to remove those negative beliefs about men and/or yourself. There are different techniques that you can use such as a newly popular one called “Emotional Freedom Techniques.” This technique directly addresses negative events in a person’s past and relieves the negative emotional intensity.

Another method is simply to think of the event(s) that caused you to have the belief, and then talk to yourself about the event from your wiser perspective.

For example, let’s say that your first boyfriend was a real jerk and purposely didn’t call you on your birthday because he was mad at you. Instead of holding on to that upset and angry feeling, tell yourself that it’s time to let it go and that he was just an immature kid at the when it happened. Let go of the anger!

The point is to delete those negative beliefs from your subconscious mind that you have about men and yourself that would keep you from meeting other types.

Allow different types of men to come to you.

3. Allow new, positive beliefs about men and yourself.

This is the fun part! Talk to yourself like your best friend would talk to you. Tell yourself things such as, “I am worthy of having a great guy! I am good enough to be with any guy I choose. I am smart enough, good-looking enough, charming enough and fun enough!”

You are a clean slate now! You’ve removed the negative beliefs about men and yourself, so now it’s time to fill in those beliefs with new, positive ones.

There is another element at play here and that is the law of attraction. The law of attraction says that things that are similar are attracted to one another. So, we attract people, circumstances and events that match our thinking and what we believe we deserve. This is why it is so important to first remove the negative beliefs and then replace them with new, positive ones.

When you clear yourself of old, negative beliefs, you make way for new beliefs and new experiences. Then, you will stop attracting the wrong type of guy and start attracting whatever type of guy you want instead!
