15 Awesome Celebrity Tattoos

It seems like everyone is showing off their skin art these days. It used to be that only rockers had ink, but now even the classiest women in Hollywood have a tattoo to show the world. Some tattoos are more prominent than others (like Melanie Griffith’s tattoo on her arm, showing the world she loves her husband) while others are delicate and hard to spot (Britney Spears’ Hebrew text on the back of her neck). Regardless of the size, here are 15 awesome celebrity tattoos that you’re going to love.

#1 Hayden Panettiere

Although it was misspelled, the thought was still beautiful. Hayden had the words “Live without regrets” in Italian tattooed down the left side of her body in beautiful cursive. It certainly made me want a tattoo down my body, too. Although, I think English would be preferable.

#2 Pink

This fabulous singer has a number of tattoos. Not afraid to be true to who she is, Pink is all about the ink, and we love her for it! One of my favorite of her tattoos is this gorgeous dragon holding an orb that goes up her outer left thigh. It’s very well done and just goes to show that not every woman needs a butterfly.

#3 Alyssa Milano

Alyssa is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood in my opinion, and her tattoos only add to that beauty. Her choice of Rosary tattoo, along with the Buddhist symbol HUM on her back, go together to show off her religiously eclectic views. Alyssa’s tattoos are personal and meaningful to her and that is very beautiful

#4 Keith Urban

Keith Urban has a number of tattoos, but the one that stands out most is on his left forearm. This turquoise and black tattoo looks like a tribal bird totem and is in actuality a representation of the Phoenix, a bird from classical mythology that rises from the ashes and starts life new again. It’s a very profound tattoo.

#5 Rihanna

Rihanna has quite a few tattoos, including the word “Shhh…” down the first finger of her right hand. However, my favorite Rihanna tattoo is the cluster of stars that falls gently from her neck down her shoulder. It’s hard to miss this one, but I have to admit that it’s classy and feminine and quite stunning to look at.

Mena Suvari has a few tattoos, but none stand out more than her lion. On the back of her beautiful neck is a large lion with the words “word, sound, power” layered underneath it. Not only is it unique and one of a kind, but it’s definitely ink you can’t miss.

Captain Jack Sparrow is just one of the tattoos Johnny has on his fine form, but the one that stands out the most is a large heart on his left bicep with the words “Betty Sue”. Are you wondering who Betty Sue is? It’s his mom. Yeah, I know, suddenly I fell madly in love with Johnny Depp, too.

The very sexy Ryan Phillippe also has some ink. On Ryan’s left shoulder blade, there are two hands holding each other surrounded by angel wings. One of the hands is Ryan’s grandfather’s and the other is Ryan’s son Deacon’s. How heart-tugging is that?

Adam Levine has no problem taking off his shirt and showing off his body art, and with good reason. The man has nice art. One of my favorite Adam Levine tattoos is the tiger running down his right arm. Although he has a number of great inks, this one is by far one of the most beautiful tiger tattoos I’ve ever seen.

That’s right, even Posh Spice has a tattoo. Actually, she has a few tattoos. The one that stands out the most, however, is the tattoo that rind from the nape of her neck, down her spine. This is a Hebrew scripture from the Book of Solomon that matches the one her husband has. It looks like it hurt.

The lovely Mrs. Pitt is known for many works of art on her body, but the most impressive and well known tattoo is the one on her left shoulder. This gorgeous Buddhist prayer, written in Khmer script, is a prayer for her son Maddox. It is not only visually stunning, but also a stunningly meaningful prayer from mother to son.

The Rock has the best tattoo on the planet his entire shoulder is covered with what looks like beautiful tribal art. Of course, add this too his perfectly sculpted chest and you have a perfect combination.

This rapper shows the love of his family on both arms. On his left upper arm is a tattoo for his Uncle Ronnie who committed suicide and was deeply loved, and on his right arm, a tattoo of Eminem’s daughter, permanently inked.

Many of Beckham’s tattoos are for his wife, Victoria. From a Sanskrit writing of her name, to the ink of her in lingerie on his arm, David is quick to show off his love for her. The one that I think is most meaningful is the bracelet of ten roses around his upper arm that he got for their ten year wedding anniversary. It’s a beautiful tattoo and full of meaning.
