Traditionally, a mojito has 5 main ingredients: rum, sugar, lime juice, mint and soda water. These ingredients make it a perfect mixture of citrus flavors, sweetness and mint. This makes the Mojito one of the most popular summer cocktails.
1. Strawberry Mojito
This is a super tasty, fruity variation of the traditional Mojito. It’s sweeter, and perfect for all those strawberry lovers! Plus, it’s super easy to make.
You’ll need:
- 10 mint leaves
- 3 strawberries
- ½ of a lime
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 2oz of white rum
- some club soda
Mix the two strawberries, lime juice, mint leaves and two teaspoons of sugar in a highball glass. Add some crushed ice and the rum. Fill the glass with club soda, and garnish with a strawberry.
2. Mango Mojito
If you like to eat mango, you are going to love this cocktail! Its taste may remind you of a mojito, but eventually the mango steals the show and becomes the main flavor of this drink.
You’ll need:
- 5 mint leaves
- 1½oz of mango rum
- 3 oz of club soda
- 1 lime wedge
Muddle the mint leaves and the lime wedge. Then add the rum, and some club soda. Serve with a couple of ice cubes.
3. Miami Mojito
This one is perfect for the long sunny days at South Beach, but you can make it at home in a couple of minutes, and bring that beach feeling to your backyard!
You’ll need:

- 1 cup of gold rum
- ½ a cup of brown sugar
- ¼ a cup of lime juice
- 1½ teaspoons of lime peel

4. Pineapple Mojito
Pineapple is tasty, healthy and very refreshing. This cocktail is perfect for the super hot summer days – and nights, too!
You’ll need:
- 1oz of pineapple juice
- 2 slices of pineapple
- 5 lime wedges
- 7 mint leaves
- 3oz of Brugal Añejo Rum
