How To Choose Which Beach Body Workout Program Best Fits You

Beach Body has a wide variety of fitness programs, which lead to different results. Use this guide to decide which program is best for you.

Chances are that if you have ever had a TV, you have seen advertisements for a Beach Body program. They’re intense, exciting, and their testimonies are pretty convincing. You probably even have some friends who have done one or more of the programs, and swear that it changed their life. However, with so many different programs, all of which lead to great results, it can be difficult to decide which program is best for you. Hopefully this guide can clear some things up and help you to make a decision.

#1 P90X (1, 2, & 3 is coming soon)

It’s only fitting that I start with P90X. It is Beach Body’s flagship program, and easily the most well known of all of their products. This program has it all. Weight training, cardio, and yoga. 90 days of dedication for roughly one hour everyday will leave you with serious muscular gains, fat-loss, and a rock solid body.

While P90X is a great program with proven results, the second generation offers some welcomed improvements. These include more exercise variations, and a shorter yoga session (the previous generation’s hour and a half session was a little too time consuming). No matter which of the two you choose, both are great for those looking for a total body transformation.

Note: P90X3 comes out this month. Each session is said to be a half hour.

#2 Power 90

We can thank Power 90 for incredible program that is P90X. Power 90 paved the way for Beach Body’s success. Essentially, it is the same 90 day transformation program as P90X, just toned down a little. Think of it as P90X’s younger sibling.  If you want to transform your body and lifestyle, but aren’t quite ready for P90X, Power 90 is the right program for you.

#3 Ten Minute Trainer

New to working out? The Beach Body Ten Minute Trainer is a great choice. Just ten minutes a day can get you on your way to living a healthier lifestyle. These short, low-intensive workouts serve are a great start if you have fears of tackling one of the more advanced programs. Of all the Beach Body programs, this is one of the least intimidating, and is the perfect program if you are new to fitness.

#4 Insanity

Are you are looking to lose some serious fat and tone your entire body? Insanity has got you covered. The program consists of high-intensity, metabolism-spiking, insane cardio circuits, The workouts burn fat like no other, all the while boosting your energy and mood. If you’re not into the increased muscle mass that comes with P90X, Insanity will give you what you’re looking for. Just 90 days and you’ll be cut and lean like never before. This program is not for beginners, so proceed with caution.

#5 Focus T25

If you want extreme fat-loss results, but cannot find the hours in the day to do Insanity, Focus T25 is what you are looking for. The program is built around the idea that working harder for less time can still yield incredible results. The workouts are 25 minutes each, packed with seriously intense cardio circuits, similar to those of Insanity. That being said, time is no longer an excuse for why you haven’t been working out. If you have the work ethic and dedication to dominate Insanity, but just lack time, Focus T25 is what you need.

While there are a host of Beach Body programs, these 5 are some of the best and most popular programs available. Think about what you’re looking for in a workout program, and decide which program best suits you.
