What Men Want You To Know But Will NEVER Tell You

Men have their own set of insecurities and secrets that they will not share with just anyone. Here is what men want you to know but will never EVER tell you.

Men, much like women, have their own set of insecurities and secrets they won’t necessarily share with just anyone; especially if they’ve been hurt in the past. However, if you want to know men in general much better than you do now, it’s good to know what men want you to know but will never tell you.

Remember, it’s quite a difficult task for most men to reveal their feelings to a woman. Some may have tried it in the past only to have been placed in the category of not being manly enough.

Perhaps they’ve seen the reaction of some women through their friends, so they don’t dare share their most intimate secrets with just anyone. If you find yourself in the situation of knowing something is off but you simply can’t put your finger on it, it may be his own little (innocent) secret that he’s not about to share easily.

Men are human too. We often look at them as having to be the strong one all the time. The person in the relationship who’s the ‘hero’. He shouldn’t do much crying or feeling in general unless it comes to sympathizing with your feelings. However, we couldn’t be more wrong. Men also feel. They may not always show it, but it’s there.

Want to understand your significant other a whole lot better, but can’t seem to get him to open up? Here are 10 things men want you to know but will never tell you:

1. He gets scared sometimes too

Men, as with women, get scared at times too. It may be over normal, everyday things like the dark, or it could very well be because of financial issues. They get scared and will almost never admit it. Some men retract and shut off while other become vocal and aggressive.

Fears come out in different ways for different individuals. As one of the things men want you to know but will never tell you, being scared is high up on the list; definitely something worth paying attention to.

2. He doesn’t always know what to do

Men don’t always have all the answers. As women, we tend to look up to the men in our lives to have it all figured out at all times. However, they’re human too. They don’t have all the answers.

We’re all just trying to make it through daily challenges, trying to figure it out along the way. Your significant other may be too afraid to tell you when he doesn’t have the answers; especially if you’re looking to him to solve every problem.

3. He cries, even if it’s when you’re not looking

Men cry. It’s a fact. They may not always do it in front of other people. In society, it’s seen as a sign of weakness, so they tend to keep it to themselves.

However, as a woman, it’s important to know that men cry sometimes too. They may not do it as often as some women, but it does happen. As a man, it may not be something he’d like to admit to you, so be gentle with that information when it does finally come out.

4. He has a few of his own body insecurities

Just like you have some insecurities about your body, so does he. You may not like your thighs, whereas he may have some issues with his chest.

Men are not immune to having self-esteem problems, even if they deny it. It’s seen as a weakness. So whenever one of those insecurities do come out, it’s important to support him and boost his self-esteem by telling him how handsome he looks.

5. He cares about what you think of him

You mean something to him, so of course, he cares about what you think of him. It’s programmed into some men to come across as being immune to what others think of them.

It’s human to wonder what other humans think of you. It doesn’t mean you have low self-esteem or care too much about other’s opinions. It simply means you’re normal, and so is he. However, h may never admit that to you or anyone else.

6. He wonders if he’s a good dad

If he’s a father, he’s most certainly wondering whether or not he’s doing a good job at it. Out of all of the things he has done wrong in his life, his children were certainly not one of them, so he wants to do the best job at raising them that he can.

In his quiet moments, there are times when he’s wondering if he’s doing a good job, so it’s always good to reassure him when he’s doing it right.

7. He worries about being able to provide for you

Any good man involved with a woman long-term will want to be able to provide for her. If you’ve been together for a long time, married or dating, chances are it’s crossed his mind.

What men want you to know but will never tell you consists of worrying about being able to provide for his woman; especially if he doesn’t make a lot of money. Some men will admit it, some won’t. However, any good man will die trying to provide for those he loves.

8. He needs hugs, just like you

Men need affection at times too, but he’ll never tell you that he needs a hug; unless he’s quite open with his feelings (in which case you wouldn’t need to read this).

However, just so you know, I make him feel all warm and fuzzy when you give him a hug out of the blue. Remember, affection releases endorphins, which makes him happy. Making him happy can be as simple as giving him a hug. Don’t hold back. Show some love when it’s due.

9. He gets jealous if other men look at you

Yes, jealousy is nasty, but it happens. It’s a good sign if there’s a little bit of jealousy in the relationship. It means he cares about you. However, too much jealousy means there’s no trust in the relationship.

This can be detrimental to the health of your union, so it’s important to address any jealousy as it comes up. He may not tell you straight away when he’s jealous, but you’ll notice it in his behavior.

10. He thinks about having children with you

If a man’s been around for a long time, he’s most certainly thinking about having children; with you. If he finds the idea appealing, he’s going to take the next step and propose.

However, it’s important to realize that when a man is thinking about reproducing with you, he definitely loves you. It’s not something he’ll admit over a lunch date, but he’s certainly indulging the idea.

Lastly, he’s scared to lose you. It’s something he may not want to reveal to you. That would mean that there’s a part of him that’s insecure; a part of him that doesn’t want to be alone. To most men, this is an important secret he’d much rather keep to himself.

Why? Because it puts him in an extremely vulnerable position where you now know how easy it is to hurt him. Men don’t want to admit that you can hurt them in an instant.

When it comes to what men want you to know but will never tell you, the list can extend quite beyond this particular one. They have their own insecurities, just like women have their own list. It doesn’t make one sex weaker than another.

In fact, the moment when we get to the stage in our relationships when we’re comfortable enough to reveal those ‘secrets’, our bonds grow immensely; taking us to a whole new level of intimacy.

That’s where you’d ultimately like to end up. So be gentle with him when he finally reveals the secrets of ‘what men want you to know but will never tell you’. There’s always a first time.
