Copy Her Style: Kim Kardashian

Sultry and sophisticated but a label snob nonetheless, you aren’t likely to find anything Kim is sporting verbatim in stores… but we can help you steal her style for less and come out with plenty of money left over for all the other necessities on your list.

Love or hate her, one thing is certain: Kim Kardashian boasts of one of the most sought after wardrobes in Hollywood. From bodycon dresses to classic pencils and pumps, Kim’s signature style is sexy with an executive chic vibe. Pair Kim’s old style with her newfound influences from men’s fashion icon, rapper Kayne West, and you get bursts of casual chic and hints of hues we haven’t seen on Kim in ages.

#1 Motorcycle Mama

We don’t think we have ever known another celeb who looks more pulled together fresh off a plane than Kim, who was all biker chick as she arrived at LAX with Kayne West close behind. Buttoned up blazers simply don’t work for girls with a lot to work with upstairs so we love that Kim lets this leather blazer by Balmain sit open casually over her simplistic V-neck tee. At a whopping $2,000 just for the structured blazer Kim sports (and that’s not even including the leather fabric), this look would cost you an upwards of $4,000. But, we’ve found some great pieces that can help you get the look for under $150… lucky you!

Coming in at only $34.99, these grey tinged denim leggings are $60 cheaper than Kim’s version. Levis are always a great fit while still being forgiving to the waistline and, in our humble opinion, is not only less expensive but also more chic.

Kim’s plain heather grey tee by Splendid weighs in at $52 – which is rather pricey for a basic. Instead, try our pick – this relaxed tee by Forever 21.

This delightful faux leather blazer by Maurice’s works far better for spring. Its simplistic design is chic and simple making it a better staple than Kim’s blazer with more detail. At $34.99, not only are you saving thousands, you’ll also save an animal which is a win/win in and of itself.

Charlotte Russe is a great place to find designer knock offs for under $40. Find some nude pointed pumps to match Kim’s look. You can also count on the store running one of their favorite promotions almost bi-weekly – buy one get one for $15 – and even if you do… you’ll still come out under $150.

#2 Sultry in Cherry Red

Kim is a great example of how to pull off a cropped looked when you are in your 30s. The key is a hint of skin up top with a hem line that’s a little longer on bottom and that is exactly what Kim did here while out in Beverly Hills with a gal pal. While Kim’s ensemble is a surefire way to max out your Visa, our version will leave you with money to spare.

This cranberry crop sweater by American Apparel is lightweight enough for spring and a more forgiving hue than Kim’s pick. It will set you back $58.

Also from American Apparel, this high-waisted pencil skirt ensures only a hint of skin shows at your waist line when rocking a crop top. It also hits right around the knee making it a true pencil and not a mini.

A close copycat to Kim’s Tom Ford sandal, this version by Go Jane is only $29.90. We love that the heel is a bit chunkier without looking like a platform. It provides extra stability and easily translates from night to day effortlessly.

#3 Muse in Mint

While out in LA, Kim flaunted this mint green getup just in time for warmer weather. We love that Kim is finally playing more with color and we think it really suits her. Though Kim is sporting designer threads head to toe, you can get the look for less with our picks that are just as chic and spring worthy.

You’d be hard pressed to find this hue and cut at your local mall, but thanks to the beauty of Etsy, you can get just about anything you see on your favorite stars for far less than Saks. We love this mint green high waisted pencil skirt from Forever 21.

Crisp in starch white, this crop top by Forever 21 is streamlined like Kim’s strappy top but with a classier vibe that evens out the fitted pencil.

Kim topped off her sophisticated look with a flirty peach pump and we are totally crushing on this pair of Kiss Kouture Nicole pumps.
