My design philosophy is rooted in the development of architectural ideas that are powerful, distinctive, and relevant to the specifics of both program and context ~ Rafael Viñoly

420m / 1,398 feet tall 432 Park Avenue is the latest addition to New York’s skyline, and it is the tallest residential building in New York City and the Western hemisphere. The 432 Park Avenue is situated between 56th Street and 57th Street, right next to Central Park.

It offers breathtaking views of Central Park, lower Manhattan, and the Atlantic Ocean, and it is visible from Brooklyn, the Bronx, Staten Island, Queens and as far away as Monmouth County, New Jersey. With ceilings measuring almost 400 cm and imposing the floor to ceiling windows, the interiors are completely soaked in light.

Spaciousness, natural light, and breathtaking views are dominating features in these high-end interiors. The most remarkable thing about 432 Park is not only its imposing size, but the fact that a building so tall and grandiose, with over 400,000 square feet of usable interior space comprehends only 104 units of living areas.

432 Park’s residents can access climate-controlled wine cellars, outdoor terrace, a spa, a ‘massage therapy room’ and pool. 89 Floors of this tower include all the exclusivity and the luxury that one can imagine.

The price for enjoying this lifestyle is exceeding $80,000,000 for full-floor penthouses. Architect Rafael Viñoly is creditable for this impressive New York’s landmark.

Amazing Breath-taking Interiors

Architecture is the will of the epoch translated into space. Until this simple truth is clearly recognized, the new architecture will be uncertain and tentative. Until then it must remain a chaos of undirected forces. The question as to the nature of architecture is of decisive importance. It must be understood that all architecture is bound up with its own time, that it can only be manifested in living tasks and in the medium of its epoch. In no age has it been otherwise.

The demand of our time for realism and functionalism must be met. Only then will our buildings express the potential greatness of our time; and only a fool can say that it has no greatness. ~ Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s “Architecture and the Times” (1924)
