Jane Birkin, model, actress, musician and long term girlfriend of Serge Gainsbourg, one of the biggest artists of our time, was traveling from Paris to her hometown, London. During that trip she was complaining about her basket to the man next to her, who was chief executive of Hermès, Jean-Louis Dumas, which Jane didn’t know. Canadian beauty, Jessica Stam, described as a “doll face with the most mesmerizing eyes ever”, got a bag named after her when she was still a teenager. This bag is very easy to wear, because it has a certain dosage of sweetness and vintage feeling to it. Stam bag was first spotted at Marc Jacob’s runway show back in fall 2005.
