Celebrity Catwalk: The Elite Of Coachella

The party in the desert has ended, but the fashion lives on! These are the best and baddest Coachella looks that we’ll be recreating throughout festival season.

If you’re looking to rub elbows with celebrities, Coachella is the place to be. This music festival in the desert is star-studded with appearances from Victoria’s Secret Angels, TV stars and A-listers like Rihanna and Leonardo Dicaprio.

While many go to enjoy the music, most go for the experience and the fashion. Coachella is nothing without the stars showing off their best festival gear, and these stars made sure they didn’t go unnoticed.

Alessandra Ambrosio

This Victoria’s Secret Angel dressed as a happy hippie on Day 1 of Coachella. Throwing up the peace sign, Alessandra Ambrosio helped to spark a ‘70s revival with her suede attire. Ambrosio showed off her model legs in high-waist suede shorts and suede booties. She was all for peace and harmony with her assortment of accessories, round sunglasses and a flouncy top.

Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid, seen with boyfriend, The Weeknd, showed up to the festival in denim-on-denim. In a very ‘90s inspired outfit, Hadid wore a high-waist denim mini skirt paired with a denim bralette.

As if that wasn’t enough, she threw a denim jacket on top to complete the ensemble. She must’ve got the memo that white sneakers are in this season because they helped to complete this seamless look.

Chanel Iman & Vanessa Hudgens

In these two simple Coachella outfits, Chanel Iman and Vanessa Hudgens show that they know what it’s like to party in the desert. Iman paired a vintage tee and denim shorts with a must-have festival accessory—a crossbody bag.

Hudgens took a teal crocheted top and paired it with white dungarees and denim jacket tied around the waist. Both these trendsetters wore close-toed shoes because anyone who’s been to Coachella knows that wearing open shoes through all that dust and grass is a party foul.

Captured walking around the festival, Chanel Iman partnered a bralette and sheer top and made it come alive with snake-print pants. In addition to the extraordinary print on the pants, it included several sheer inserts that allow the leg to peak through. Iman finished the outfit with Lennon-esque sunnies.

Ellie Goulding

While Ellie Goulding’s Coachella outfit is the least festival-inspired on the list, it doesn’t take away from the absolute flawlessness and aesthetic of her wardrobe. In metallic shorts, white sneakers and ombre jacket, Goulding looked casually effortless in the desert.

Jamie Chung

Long ago, former Real World member Jamie Chung stopped being polite and started getting a real flare for fashion. In this one of a kind festival look, Chung wore a black bodysuit with a long, embroidered floral duster. She kept it dark but glamorous with an assortment of black accessories, including a choker, bucket bag and fedora.

Jasmine Tookes

Victoria’s Secret model Jasmine Tookes shined under the California sun in her festival gear. Tookes kept it light and simple in an Aztec print top, white knee length skirt and gladiator sandals. She finished off the look with a yellow head tie and gold hoops as her only accessory.

Karlie Kloss

Karlie Kloss was ‘70s chic in a leather v-neck top and distressed denim shorts. Carrying on with the psychedelic vibe, Kloss added a suede crossbody and maxi length striped duster to the look. The outfit is completed with a set of chokers and combat boots.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner is quickly making a name for herself as one of the best dressed at Coachella. In an Aztec print, Jenner showed off some skin with this cut-out dress. She paired it perfectly with a dynamic neck piece, but opted for a softer look with strappy sandals, round sunnies and space buns.

Lea Michele

With a smile that brightens up the whole look, Lea Michele opted for a dark and casual look at this year’s Coachella. In a simple look, Michele paired a black crop top with cut-off shorts and black boots. Her black and white jacket added to the Palm Springs feel and gave us just a dash of color with a small pink detail.

Vanessa Hudgens

It’s only right that we save the best for last. Vanessa Hudgens was crowned Queen of Coachella when she started attending the festival. After missing last year, Hudgens made sure to make up for it.

In a look that can be found on her Instagram, she was a flowerchild in an oversized wrap dress with a flower in her hair and an abundance of livlokai bracelets.

She also blew kisses in a crisscross printed dress and gold choker. In our favorite look and a look that might set the tone for festival season, Hudgens wore a red romper and a feathered headpiece adorned in her beachy waves.

Coachella always set the tone for festival season, and after seeing these celebrity looks, you might be on the lookout for a new outfit to wear. Before you open your wallet, check out the biggest celebrity secret to festival shopping.
