You are reprogramming your brain with positive images and statements, knowing that we react to what we perceive to be true.

All you need to do, in order to make positive affirmations work, is to have faith and the willingness to keep trying. Your words carry the power to change your life and, by repeating them day in and day out, you will eventually begin to experience a sort of emotional paradigm shift.

Remember that practice is the key to success. Be kind to yourself through this process. It took you a while to think of all the negative thoughts that, in turn, may have made you sad.
