There are so many different places to volunteer, a soup kitchen, a homeless shelter, anywhere, really. No matter what you decide to do to help, it’s going to change someone’s holiday.
Even if you just go out and buy a couple of things for children who won’t be getting presents, it helps. Every little bit helps when you have nothing.
Charity work starts at home. Have you really called your aunt enough? Sure, she might be a pain, but don’t you think some love will brighten her day? How about visiting some elderly relatives you know would love to see you—those who might be a little bit lonely?
